I'm a massage therapist and a wilderness field instructor for at risk adolescents in Asheville, NC taking some time off in the winter to visit South America and get perspective on my life and this world. On my trip I'm excited to play a lot of music, dance (aprender cumbia!), and come into contact with diverse healers and plant medicines as I continue to grow in my passion of understanding healing and illness on both personal and cultural levels.

I love listening to music of all types especially folk music from around the world and all the great world fusion that is happening. It's a way to travel when I'm in one place. I am happy to boogie down to everything from jazz to dubstep.
I have come to enjoy movies more of the years though I rarely watch them. When I do its usually documentaries.
