Hello!

I’m Lucija and I’m 23 years old. I'm from Ljubljana, the capital of small European country called Slovenia. By profession I'm a preschool teacher, but I have been working as a receptionist and administrator at the medical center in Ljubljana for the last half of the year.

Ever since I was a child, I traveled around Europe with my family, which made traveling my passion. Now that I am older, I would like to discover as many places in the world as I can.

In March 2020, I visited Rio de Janeiro, where I fell in love with Brazil and its culture. After returning home, I started learning Portuguese. The desire to return remained, so I decided to go back to Brazil after 2 years and explore it a little more, in longer period of time.
I'm now in Rio de Janeiro and will be staying in Brazil until June.

I am a responsible, reliable and outgoing person who also loves to sing, hang out with friends, spend time with my dog Ozzy and family, laugh, have fun and discover new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At the moment I'm exploring the city of Rio de Janeiro, but it would of course be even better experience to do it in company, so I'm open to meeting new people :D

I think that traveling to Brazil alone for a longer period is definitely in the category of the most amazing and daring things that I have done :D
