About Me
I love meeting new people and discovering new places and cultures :)
As a teacher I have time in the summer to travel and practice some of my hobbies (trekking, rock climbing, and photography). During the school year I'm much more busy but will always find time for a drink with friends or a weekend with family. I usually have busy months when university is in session but then a lot more free time when the semesters are over.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing to meet new people and discover their cities and habits with them. I like how you're able to experience things differently and how you travel differently when you take the time to stop and meet up with people all over the world. I also enjoy helping people to discover my city and letting them know what we usually do with my friends. If they're willing to meet them then the more the merrier!

Music, Movies, and Books
That's a very hard question... Recently I fell in love with Aragon's poetry, read All the things we cannot see by Anthony Doerr (then proceeded to promptly buy it for some friends and recommended it to anyone who asked about a good read). Right now I'm reading Steinem's My Life on the Road, which is very interesting but more political than what I thought it would be. I'm also reading Stieglitz's The Great Divide.
I don't really have a favourite genre as well, I really listen to all kinds of music. Today I listened to Roméo Elvis, Nina Simone, Bror Gunnar Jansson and Niki & the dove among others, so really it changes with the mood.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Having flown solo to Kazakhstan and then traveled to Kyrgyzstan!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not sure what the topic is here, so as to what I can teach I'd say English and French, basic photography as well. What I'd like to learn: new languages, new sports. Sharing can't quite be planned in the same way but sharing a bottle of wine at a café with friends (or friends-to-be) is always the best way to spend the evening, while trading stories or planning new adventures!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Paris! Our wine and museums and the bars and restaurants I love. If we're meeting somewhere else, then my love for food still, my enthusiasm for all things new, and maybe pictures of moments spent together.
