I am a 23 year old student from France. I am currently studying for my masters in Germany. I am an easy going and open minded person :) This will definitely not appear as a groundbreaking and unique statement on a Couchsurfing platform but: I love meeting new people :) Why ? Because all my experiences abroad so far have been enriched by all the people I met there. All the awesome things that happened to me abroad happened thanks to those people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing to get the chance to meet new people instead of going in hostels and meeting none. When it comes to travelling, it may sound a bit cheesy but I think it's about the people more than the places you go: what you share and and what you received during this journey. Hitchhiking and couchsurfing for instance helped me see that I could not only recieve things from others but that I also had things to share.

Interests

* Having just completed my degree in English, this will not come as a surprise if I tell you I am completely and hopelessly passionate about foreign languages.

* Music is also definitely an essential part of my life: I've been singing for as long as I can remember and I also play (with more or less talent) the ukulele.

*You may also find me wondering the streets with my camera, trying to take nice pictures !

Music, Movies, and Books

* Wow, that is a tough one ! My music tastes are very varied and this makes another reason for me to want to meet new people. I love discovering new tracks, new artists, new styles... And this results in many sleepless nights spent on Spotify, looking for new sounds (and trying to fulfill my hopeless quest of the perfect "party playlist") !
You can easily find me listening to classic brit-pop from the 70s (Beatles, Kinks, Who...) as well as a lot of electronic music (TRP; Leon Vynehall, NU, Fakear, Borrowed Identity.. most of which come from Germany where I discovered amazing electro music when I lived there ! ) :)

* I am a TVseries and movie junkie ! My tastes in movies are at least as varied as those in music: I can go watch Interstellar to the cinema, talk to you about the indie movie Little Miss Sunshine on the way in, put a post on Facebook saying that I can't wait to see Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and have a laugh in front of Ace Ventura Pet Detective before going to bed !I find awesome to talk about cinema with other people, listen to their recommandation and share views on a movie :)

* I can't write down all the TV series I love but to name a few : Sherlock, Parks and Recreation, How I Met Your Mother, New Girl, Peep Show, Impastor, Last Man on Earth, Masters of Sex...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One sleepless night spent in the Alps, out in the nature, at more than 1800 meters high, looking at the sky, the stars and groundhogs playing in front of me under the moonlight :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am always up for sharing a bit of my culture as well as to learn from other's !
I can cook traditional French recipes and bake well (chocolate cake, crêpes, scones...) :) Even if I can't host right now, I'm always up for showing people around and meeting so don't hesitate to contact me !
