ABOUT ME

I'm a globe trotter. I like meeting people from other countries and practising foreign languages with them. I discovered couchsurfing a while ago when I arrived in Canada to live there for a year. I met cool people through Couchsurfing. Having a local showing you around a new city is the best thing ever when you're a bit curious and want to experience living as a local.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience as a couch surfer was when I arrived in Ottawa, Canada as an exchange student from Paris knowing absolutely no one in this city! I arrived on a Friday night at Julien's house during a crazy party and discovered Canadian hospitality and kindness... My host offered me to stay longer as I couldn't find a proper place to live in and we still keep in touch!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My favourite book is Belle du Seigneur by Albert Cohen. I also enjoy Russian Litterature (Nabokov, Dostoievski, Tolsoi). My favourite French author is Albert Camus.

Music: Cold War Kids, Franz Ferdinand, The Young and Famous, Pony Pony Run Run, Phoenix, Vampire Weekend, Django Reihnart and so on.

Movies: Festen, Dancer in the Dark, La Journée de la Jupe... I cannot think of all the movies I love right now!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Organized a reunion with 2 friends I met in Canada, one from South Korea and one from Australia in Myanmar 2 years after we left Canada as exchange students.
It was amazing to discover this country which is still very preserved from tourism together after such a long time without seeing eachother !

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I'm really into cinema, like independant cinema... I would love to discover new directors, new films from everywhere in the world!
I can speak French, English and some Spanish. I would also love to learn Russian or Italian!
I love to cook sometimes. I love cooking spicy food.
I love rock music and attending gigs, going to music festivals...

Now, the place I live in does not enable me to host people unfortunately. But if you're cool and think we could get along, contact me and we can spend some time together and I could also introduce you to my friends.
