I'm dying to give my freedom a try, to explore the world, to understand you- and thereby myself.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 28 years old German medicine student, currently working on my thesis and enjoying the last months of "freedom" before starting to work in the hospital. I love (making and listening to) music, dancing and good parties, conversations, theatre and literature, cooking with friends or finding cool places with yummy food and much more..
I'd describe myself as open-minded, curious and enthusiastic.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

My passion is travelling- and therefor I acknowlegde the means couchsurfing community to be the best means.
In the beginning I chose to try couchsurfing mostly due to financial reasons, but very soon I realized how much more it is. I want to actually meet people from the countries I visit and I don't want to miss any of the experiences I had with foreigners in my own country. Staying at other peoples houses and sharing my own place with others gives me the feeling that I visit the world, not just sight seeings and stuff I find in travelguides.
Why is travelling so great in my eyes? It's because I want to give myself the chance to broaden my horizon, to understand other cultures, traditions and living realities, to bring back home into my own life and town what I learned abroad. This all is possible due to CS - I appreciate it indiscribably.

Maybe the most precious travels I've experienced so far: hitchhiking about 4500 km through south and midwest Europe, sleeping in a tent next to the highways, and meeting heaps and heaps of interesting people.
