ABOUT ME

I never know how to describe myself but let me try.

I think about myself as a nice and polite girl who is trying to enjoy her life. I love being in nature, doesn't matter if just for a few hours or several days, but sometimes I can also appreciate the beauty of a city with its sightseeings, cafés and bars.

Besides the travelig (and travel-planning) I like playing piano/guitar and singing, especially in the evenings by camp-fire. (OK, lately, I got a bit lazy and I like better just to listen to someone else playing.) I also participate in "cypher-games" and "geocaching" - if you can't imagine what it could be I will happily tell you about it when we meet!

I like almost all kind of sport activities - cycling, running, dancing (if you don't mind to call it a sport activity), volleyball (and other ball games even though I am not very good at them), squash, climbing and bouldering (just a very beginner without proper equipement, but excited), swimming, ...

I am a little bit (maybe more then that ;-)) picky when it comes to food but I am trying to be better and try new things. Sometimes it may happen that I am not too talkative, but don't be afraid, it's not too often and I promise I will do my best!

Did I mention that I love to travel? ;-)

I can't say I have any life philosophy, but this would express my attitude maybe the best: Don't stress, enjoy!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have first heard about CS several years before, from my friend, and I was really amazed by the idea, though a little bit afraid or maybe better to say shy to participate. But after the experience with CS on our trip to Öland I think it is absolutely amazing way how to meet new people, to discover the best places in the area and to spend the evenings on your trip hanging out with your hosts.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I'm not really a movie-master and I can watch almost whatever, maybe except of some too-much-bloody-movies.
Music: rock, pop, latindance-music, classic, czech country, ... What I don't like too much is techno and similar.
Books: I like reading. I have read almost all of Stephen King's and Agatha Christie's books translated to the czech and if not, I read them in english.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every minute spent with my friends and family was amazing, hard to choose one thing, so let me write at least three of them (even if it's a little bit random choice from several great experiances):
- being exchange student in Sweden,
- via-ferrata climbing,
- hiking in Himalaya.

Teach, Learn, Share

teach: geocaching ;), czech language, basics of latin-american and ballroom dances (but don't expect too much, it has been now a long time ago when I used to dance regularly), mathematics :oD. Maybe you will find out something else.

learn: everything about the place where you live, your language, traditions; new sports and games

share: experiences and few diaries from travels, nice evenings with cookies/cake/... & tea/wine/... ;)
