About Me

I'm Yazan (Yaz). A 5'11 human from Jordan and currently living in Debrecen, Hungary. I'm into many things in life like humanitarian relief, innovation, entrepreneurship, training, and tutoring, engineering, cultural and language exchange, and having fun times.
Former AIESECer (local committee president).
A graduate of the first HTU entrepreneurship and innovation Bootcamp.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To find new friends, help out expats, and exchange cultures.

Helping people out is always a great thing t do.

I feel that this way is amazing to get to know locals and immerse in the culture which leads to staying away from the tourists' traps that are all around us.

I want to know more about others and to let others know about myself and Jordan in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped off a waterfall at Zarqa'a Ma'een near the Dead Sea, stage dived, and graduated on top of my class in 2018 :p

Teach, Learn, Share

I have good knowledge of the aspects of automotive engineering, some computer and electronics knowledge.
I'm into NGOs and teaching kids.
I have taken courses regarding training of trainers, presentation skills, human resources, and automotive repairs.
I have taken an entrepreneurship and innovation bootcamp, so I can help out in how to get valuated better and how to get a niche market.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A great atmosphere, voluntary and NGO related experience, reasonable pieces of advice, Arabic and English lessons, Excel training, ways to go around Amman (yup, ditch taxis and walk or use public transport. It's better for the environment).
