ABOUT ME

A young couple wanting to see more of the world. We're Slovak (Lucia) and Dutch (Mark) and in September 2013 we left Bahrain after having lived and worked there for 3 years. What followed was all about doing things differently... We started a year long travel. We're keeping track of our adventures on www.takeitandgo.eu

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We both like exploring the world and especially it's people. We are eager to meet with people of various cultures and backgrounds so we can learn more and perhaps share our experiences too.

At the monent we're mainly travelling so we're looking for couches. Once we have a fixed place to live again we'll host

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are CS beginners. We have so far met some great people through CS and hope to keep meeting more.

We started with couchsurfing only on this trip and so we have only surfed so far. However we already know we want to open our doors to surfers when we are settled.

Interests

At the moment travelling is our life and the main hobby (lucky us!). We both enjoy sports (L: basketball, netball, teamsports mainly & M: tennis, biking, football, diving).
We love good food - we cook ourselves but enjoy eating out and trying various cuisines.
And last but not least meeting people, making friends, and everything people is our hobby too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing we have done together in our lives is what we are living right now: we left our daily jobs and are enjoying adventures across Asia. We do not know what to expect and what will happen but we are living it 100%!

Teach, Learn, Share

We love to meet people who can introduce us to their day-to-day lives rather than taking us around to see sights. We like to see where people normally eat, go out or how they move around their cities.

If you can teach us how to cook your favourite local dish or take us out with your friends, that would be a great extra!
