Sobre mí

CURRENT MISSION

Hablo español pero no quiero traducir este perfil entero :P Estoy viviendo con mi pareja, Ricardo, en Florida, EEUU con ganas de viajar de nuevo.

ABOUT ME

I am an easygoing person who finds humor in all aspects of life. I love meeting new people and listening to them share their stories. Every body on this planet has lived their own personal life, shaping them into who they are today. I am eager to exchange life experiences and learn a little bit more about those around me.

I would consider my self a peaceful partier : I am vegetarian and a hippie, but love going out and dancing. As long as nobody gets hurt, I believe to live life to the fullest and get all things accomplished.

PHILOSOPHY

I personally think that life is too short to sit around and watch it pass by. You gotta live each day to the fullest with no regrets and no turning back. Go out and LIVE YOUR LIFE.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am eager to couchsurf in other cities as well as be hospitable to travelers coming to my city, wherever in the world that may be!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first couchsurfed in Savannah, GA where I had a nice host who welcomed me and a friend into his home. It was so pleasant that I couchsurfed a lot whilst living in Europe.

One of the first trips I hopped around couchsurfers in Copenhagen and really got a feel for all sorts of cultures. We encountered so many languages!

Stayed with a fellow vegetarian in Poitiers, France where our bellies were pleasantly full. I still remember that awesome veg kitchen - it hosted a lot of cool events when they weren't cooking.

I used to live in Madrid and hosted surfers frequently, often from our network of schools and friends. After several years of living in Europe, I returned to St. Pete and enjoyed showing my hometown to people who visited.

I am currently living in Argentina with my partner and we hope to visit several cities in this beautiful (and vast!) country.

Música, películas y libros

Pulp Fiction (anything Tarantino really), Star Trek (moreso the series than the films, but the older ones are pretty good!), nerdy but I love the Matrix | recently became a fan of French rap ~ Nekfeu, Youssoupha, Nessbeal ~ which in turn made me like American hip hop again, but most importantly I like music that I can dance to (which is most stuff, sometimes no music is needed :P), a fan of gender bender Mykki Blanco | "A New Earth" is my favorite book, call me crazy, but I think Eckhart Tolle kinda just puts to paper some abstract thoughts I've had floating in my head.

Algo increíble que he hecho

The Grand Canyon was the first adventure I did as a young adult. The sights were breaktaking! Being from Florida, we do not have such a varied landscape. Since then, my adventuring has skyrocketed. I enjoy hiking, camping, being at the beach...anything outdoors!

I lived in Europe for ~3 years and was fortunate to visit several countries and couchsurfers. I am grateful for the experiences I gained whilst there.

In Puerto Rico, I scaled the side of a mountain and leaped (30+ ft) into the spring below. Exhilarating!

A friend and I drove from SF to LA via PCH and it was the most serene (and winding) drive of my life :D

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I play the piano and can teach you a few things. If you do not have a keyboard, I can teach you how to read music. I am always open to learning about new things, and I definitely want to improve my foreign languages. I have tried to learn Latin dance (salsa, bachata, tango) but seem to have trouble mastering it. That is something I continuously want to improve.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Goodness, cooking talking and dancing must be some of my favorite things. I consider myself a good listener, although I do like to talk a lot. I think that through speaking and dialect, one can become closer with themself and others.
