About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To move to Rome for a year!
ABOUT ME
I was raised in Manhattan, and went to a school for music and art. When I was sixteen I got work in Italy and went for three months by myself. I fell in love with the country! I was able to return several more times, (4 in total)and even took my son (then just 6 years old) for the entire summer of 2005. I discovered they don't like to take in children at Hostels...who knew! We had to find cheap hotel rooms at the last minute and then bargain that down as I ran out of money...what an experience. We also stayed with friends along the way. It was really fun though! He loved it. He thought it was like a game.
I'm going again for a month this June 2007, and he will stay with my mom & dad in the U.S. I'm a very lucky person always, and am very grateful for this. When I was young I got the nickname Luckycharm.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is one big adventure...don't let conventional thinking get in your way!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just found out about this website a few days ago...March 31st.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I first moved to San Francisco years ago in the 90's I slept on the couch of two guys I just met from my hometown. I did their dishes and made their beds. Within three weeks I found a permanent place to live and had two jobs. They didn't want me to leave : ) It was a great experience.
Interests
Walking everywhere...I'm a New Yorker. Also I love all things Italian. I love to read. When I was a little girl I was always walking to school with my nose in a book. I love ancient history, red wine, motorcycles, Carmel CA, too many things to name at this time...
