About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To enjoy life!

ABOUT ME

I live in a beautiful part of the world with my girlfriend Jessie. We are musicians and play in the band The Lucky Wonders, that's my main job. I'm also a carpenter but I only do carpentry work occasionally now, I'm also studying building design.
I joined couch surfers because I believe that it's the relationships we share that bring us happiness and make us feel part of one big family and who wouldn't want to share happiness! I also think that traveling is so much richer when you connect with people and see their home through their eyes.
I'm a greenie, I think it's everyone's job to look after our planet and as a band we often do benefit gigs for environmental or humanitarian causes.
I also love cooking and try to grow my own vegetables, if you're lucky you'll arrive when our trees are covered in mangoes, bananas or mulberries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One memorable experience was hitching to Darwin when I was about 20. I was stranded near a road house in the middle of nowhere, it was getting dark and I couldn't get a lift. The roadhouse closed and a woman who worked there offered to take me back to her place. It was a shed also in the middle the dry bush shared with her giant pet pig and her dog. I was so grateful, we had a great night.

Interests

Nature doesn't cease to amaze me. I love making music , painting, designing things to build, drawing, bushwalking, drinking coffee in bed, playing with my 3 year old neighbour, having a bath under the stars, cooking for people, sharing.

When I was twenty I rode my bike from Darwin to Broome in the Kimberly in Australia. It took about six weeks through the desert and gorges. I've never felt so connected to the planet, it really got under my skin.
