ABOUT ME

I've had many life experiences, from leaving home at 18 to join the military, being deployed across the world, leaving the military and establishing a life in beautiful Victoria BC. What I'm very proud of has been the journey that took me to where I am today as a person.

If you've ever seen the TEDx talk from Anita Moorjani, her 5 takeaways explain well what I'm trying to achieve in this life. Love yourself, use love not fear, finding your joy in life as a spiritual activity, struggles are a gift in our lives, not a chore, and be yourself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The couch surfing experience is an excellent option to live globally and build communities. I feel we need a united humanity. And if it takes a village to raise a child, it first takes adults who are willing and open to being and sharing with one another.

Interests

The big ones: real estate and psychology (understand humans).

The other important ones: the West coast, staying physically active, meeting my friends, trying new recipes, finding hole in the wall restaurant from around the world, hanging at the cafe with my boyfriend and our computers, simply enjoying each other's presence.
