About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Have couch, will travel.
ABOUT ME
Studious graduate student by day, downtown adventurer by night! I'm an easy-going Raleigh-dweller, with a penchant for night-biking, cooking, and beer-tasting (and hyphens!). It's a pleasure to meet you.
PHILOSOPHY
You get what you give in this life. While I'm an avowed atheist, I like to keep my universal karmic balance sheet well in the black. I pick up trash on my way to work and feel terrible when I have to kill a bug.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted a bunch of people in my current house, as well as my old one. I surfed in Seattle in 2011 and had a great time!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The variety of people that I've met has been stunning. Persons whom I've hosted have been nuanced and peculiar, while the people I've stayed with have been portraits of hospitality and good times.
Interests
Biking, running (Umstead Park!), pretty days, temperate nights, Raleigh, Durham, TRAVEL!

Music, Movies, and Books
Have you seen Being Elmo? My friends and I do a movie night every Sunday; we try to make sure the films are off-the-wall and well-reviewed. Come with me if you're here on a Sunday night!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's cliche, but one of my favorite life experiences thus far is a road trip I took with about 7 other people over spring break a few years ago. We stayed with friends most of the time, and hit up Savannah, Fernandina Beach, Tallahassee, New Orleans, Chattanooga and Knoxville over a 6 day period.
