My name's Luc and I'm a MSc Anthropologist. I live in the city of Utrecht, precisely in the middle of the Netherlands. At the NGO Critical Mass, I work with youth on topics such as identity, conflict and discrimination, and I set up projects for other organizations such as the Red Cross on children in conflict areas. Additionally, I teach at Utrecht University, at the department of Cultural Anthropology, where I teach a BA subject on ethnicity and nationalism and tutor MA students of the MA program on sustainably citizenship.

I am especially interested in politics, culture and history, but especially to gain more knowledge and new insights about these topics. So when we meet, feel free to tell me as much as you like sharing :)

Besides all the serious stuff, I like coffee, beer and wodka, but also to travel, go out with friends and party until the morning and to make as much fun as possible :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am interested in meeting all different kinds of people and I love talking to them. So let's go for a coffee, or some other drink and talk all night long.

Don't have a (comfortable) couch, so unfortunately I cannot really host.

Interests

I am most interested in politics, history, culture and cultural diversity. But my friends tell me that I'm easy to talk to, so probably we can talk about all different kinds of topics.

I like people who are positive, friendly and lovable, but especially who do not judge others by not knowing anything, who counter anger, prejudice and shortsightedness.
