About Me

I am a very curious traveller and I enjoy nature! When there is a mountain, I want to know what is behind, how it looks like, what kind of animals live there.

Is there a town? What's the special dish from this place? Food is for me a way to travel and to understand a place. I am a very enthusiastic cooking guy and love "faire la cuisine" for my hosts or guests.

Currently a master student in Ecology at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, I leave in Vestby (Norway, 30min by train from Oslo). I have been very lucky to work with animals in very remote places like the Kalahari desert. Now, for my Master thesis, I work with brown bears in collaboration with the Scandinavian Brown Bear Research Project.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have discovered Couchsurfing during an amazing travel around the word. With a very good friend, I left Switzerland 1st April 2015 and came back 5 months later. Hitchhiking, walking, taking the train, etc... across East of Europe, Russia from far East to far west (Kamchatka included), Alaska, Canada and back home. Normally camping outside in the wild, I have discovered this magic network of couches that offered me so much good memories!

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock give the tempo of most of my walks, cycling, cooking and studying. Like cooking, the most important is that it's not always the same.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have always been travelling a bit. But the day I left for a student exchange program in Canada, I opened my eyes to the big world. I wish I will never stop to discover it.
