About Me
Hi guys!!
I’m Lucrezia and I am 26. I grew up in Italy but an interest in different countries and cultures leaded me into a world citizen living and experiencing life out of my comfort zone.
ARTURO: I'm Arturo, i'm 25 years old and I've spent last years through tons of adventures crazy jobs and journeys throughout half of the world almost everytime with my girlfriend, and partner of life lucrezia. Travelling has been a big part of my life in the last two/three years as I tried to know the beaches, mountains and roads of Latin America. My first approach to this amazing continent has been during a trip in Chile and Bolivia in 2019 while I was still studying in Bologna Italy. A few years later after an experience in Greece working with migrant people on the island of Lesvos I decided to come back to Latin America and work at the border between Venezuela and Colombia with refugees. In the last two years I have been travelling throughout all of Mexico from the southern border to Tijuana where I'm heading right now!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
LUCREZIA: I travelled a lot in my life. I spent 3 months in Australia when i was 18 as an au pair in an indian family. I worked as a waitress in London for 2 months before starting my university in Bologna (political sciences). During the university I did an Erasmus in Barcelona and another en Valparaiso, Chile. I hitch hiked all over the Europe and backpacked for 3 months in Latin America. I worked as a volunteer for few months in an amazing ecofarm in Greece and I met the best workawayers I’ve ever met, sleeping in the tents together and showering with freezing water in the wildest countryside. I recently finished a volunteer experience in an NGO which works in a refugee camp in Lesvos, Greece, and a month ago I returned to Italy after traveling up Turkey from south to north by hitchhiking and using Couchsurfing. I have studied for 3 months in Costa Rica, visiting the most beautiful forests and natural parks of my life. I then traveled for three months between Guatemala, Colombia and Cuba filling my eyes with volcanoes, Caribbean islands and political struggle…I couldn't wish for anything better!
Teach, Learn, Share
We believe that we don’t need money, we could go back to hunter-Gatherers and see that by helping each other, using our skills and not possessing things we don’t need we could live in a happy place. That is why We are on this website. Because we think that volunteering is all about exchange. You learn and take but you also give.
Wedo believe that we are positive and enthusiastic persons, eager to learn new things and ready to share what I learnt. We are really easygoing, cheerful, curious, adventurous and adaptable people and we are always excited to know new persons and new cultures. All our friends say that we are super lucky!!! It might be true, I think it's because we are really positive person and I always see tha glass half full!!!
