Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet up with people who are familiar with a place I may be visiting. It would be cool to have a place to crash or just meet up and hang out in new area or even just recommend places to check out in your area.

Interests

This summer I have decided to say yes to lots of things (within reason). Feels good :) I like listening to and discovering new music. Enjoy the outdoors, water, hikes, bikes, kites, other things that don't rhyme with those. I enjoy seeing people off their phones, makes is so much more inviting for conversation.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Adaptation, Waking Life, What We Do in the Shadows..
Music: Modest Mouse, Ween, Talking Heads, Why?, Days n Daze...I grew up listening to punk in my teens but my taste in music expanded greatly in college. Now it varies with my mood. I love to dance but also love music with meaningful lyrics. I enjoy checking out new artists especially if they are highly recommended by someone I meet or know.
