Hello, my name is Lucy, I am 31 and from the UK. I have recently quit my job, sold my belongings and embarked on a world wide trip. Having just spent 3 months in South East Asia I am now in Australia where I hope to stay for the next year, working and travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Having been travelling for a few months now I have realised that some of the best times come from stepping off the tourist track and finding the local spots and to me this is what couch surfing is about. Meeting local people and experiencing a place from their point of view.

Interests

I recently learnt to scuba dive and now I am totally in love with the underwater world. The feeling you get from being in the sea is unlike any other. On dry land I love taking pictures, mainly of sunsets and am slowly learning how to use my camera properly. If I have time I like a good book and always enjoy good conversation. I like listening to music and love a good 30second dance party when the feeling takes me.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is eclectic. I like everything from dance to jazz, country to pop. I'm not a big movie buff, I'm usually too busy to sit still for them. Books, I like anything with a good plot and really enjoy the Lee Child Jack Reacher books.
