ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm a traveller so more likely turning up in your doorstep than hosting...
Currently studying for a BA in Fashion Design / Fine Art / Visual Culture in Dublin and in the meanwhile working with food, creative projects concerning sustainability, coastal resources, seaweed... particularly excited by fair trade / sustainable / women's developement fashion at the moment...

Generally relaxed, happy, excited about life and good for a chat or an existential debate... always delighted to be on the road exploring a new place! I love spontaneous adventures so will tag along on whatever you're doing or find a nice cafe to draw in / field to dance in. Dinner parties, cafes, music nights... avoid all tourist attractions...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've couchsurfed in Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Florence and Rome, to be continued...

Sleeping on a local's sofa is a million times better than a strange hostel where your only engagement with a local is to hand over money. Beat the impersonal capitalist system! I have met such incredibly fun, energised, exciting people couch-surfing...those who are happy in life and open to making a friend or being spontaneous. Also much more likely to see what a place is really like and save your money for food / activities.

As well as couchsurfing I've worked on organic farms in Nepal through wwoofing (amazing network and the way we should all travel, I would recommend to anyone unless you absolutely hate the outdoors!)
