Just an exchange student from Scotland/France on a year abroad in Melbourne, and hoping to travel a bit around Australia. I am a very smiley, sociable and caring person wanting to meet locals to discover a new way of life as well as their area, and perhaps also travel mates with who we can share amazing experiences :) I love chatting to people, but also understand that some people need their personal space and quiet time to themselves. I am quite a clean and tidy person, and take good care of my belongings. Also very pro-environment and sustainability. I love cooking, as well as playing board games, watching movies or just talking about life in general.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am couch surfing primarily to meet locals, new incredible people and make new friends. And if these new friends come to France or Scotland they are welcome to stay at my place. So in a way it is also to network.
I am also travelling on quite a tight budget so couch surfing sounded ideal for me.

兴趣

I am a volunteer at the Australian Youth Climate Coalition and do a lot of work with them to build a network for young students who want to have a say in their future, and make the world a more sustainable, secure and ethical place.
I also love going to the cinema, and to festivals. Actually have 3 planned for this summer.

My favourite movie for the moment is called 'Before Sunrise' and tells the story of a random encounter that lasts only a night. It is set in Vienna, and is just amazing. Very low key but I love it.

My favourite book is probably 'The Catcher In The Rye' by J. D. Salinger.

Contributed to the campaign that led to the divestment of fossil fuel industries by my University in Glasgow. We were the first university to do this in Europe.
