I am from Nelson BC Canada and I love the great outdoors! I grew up in a small mountain town were everyone gets out in nature, even if it's just for a walk in the forest. I love to ski and hike and biking is my favourite way of commuting. I am really interested in other languages and I also love fashion design and creating things! I make a lot of earrings with stuff from around my house :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to make connections, get to know people and make friends so that when I'm back traveling I can visit the people I've met or they can visit me in Canada. I think it is a very economical and safe way to travel. And for me is a way more interesting way to discover places. I just joined couch surfing so I haven't hosted on the app but I have had lots of people stay with me and my friends and family over the years. I am also really excited to do more hosting in the coming years!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love historical fiction, as well as most fiction...if it's actually good! I also love manga and short stories. As for movies my affections lie in all corners of the map. I love anime and other animated films, however I also love pretty much every other kind of movie as long as it's not too cheesy.

I hope to learn a lot while traveling and I also hope to be able to share what I have learned while growing up in Canada and my year in Germany. I love talking about culture and language, so traveling is really interesting for me as definitely not just about seeing the sights.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would say I'm good at making breakfasts of any sort but maybe my dinner skills could use some help...maybe you can help me! I think mostly because I don't really know how to combine all the spices together into a gorgeous tasting dish. But I love to cook with people and am really interested in learning more about it. I love to dance and sing and be goofy so I can always offer a fun atmosphere!
