Overview
About Me
I am a fun, outgoing 22 year-old with a positive outlook on life, always embracing new people and experiences.
I was born and raised in York, England but I am now living in Dundee, having graduated from St Andrews University in June. I work as a Housekeeping Supervisor in one of the many golf hotels in St Andrews (so I am an extremely tidy and responsible person to have around the house).
And I love dogs. And cats.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
There is no better way to get to know someone than to share a house with them, for any given amount of time. I want to expand my horizons and meet as many new people as I can, to share experiences, knowledge, culture and friendship with. Travelling is something I've wanted to do for a while now, and that journey will be made evermore beneficial and exciting, if I have the opportunity to stay with as many different kind, welcoming people as possible. I was lucky enough to travel some of Europe in August 2019, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I saw so many things, met so many people and just enjoyed every minute. I would love the opportunity to further that experience, and also share my stories with more amazing people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Not to sound too cliché, but I like all movies and music in general - depending on what mood I'm in at the time, I can enjoy and appreciate any and all genres.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2018, I hitchhiked from Glasgow, Scotland to Paris, France with 2 of my closest friends. We managed to get there without spending a single penny on transport, but it did cost us some of our sanity, and a lot in hours of sleep. The original goal was to reach Barcelona, Spain without spending any money but one of our team members wasn't quite cut out for it.
This experience was amazing, as we met so many incredible people on our journey, including 2 Dutch guys with whom we raced through the streets of Paris. It is also, however, bittersweet as although I am proud of how far we made it, I know that the experience could have still been so much more than what it was.
Also, I peaked Ben Nevis and back in <5 hours which was pretty epic.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to get a kick-start in learning a 2nd language.
I can teach you some of the North Yorkshire dialect, although this is often not such a desirable skill among the people I meet :(
Just sharing experiences and friendship with people is the ultimate goal of this, and of any experience.
What I Can Share with Hosts
If I am offered a place to stay while on my travels, I will be infinitely grateful. I will do anything and everything I can think of to begin showing my thanks including, but not limited to; helping with tasks around the house, cooking meals for my hosts, looking after any (and all) pets.
I am a very easy-going person, but I also know how to have a good time. I can offer everything from a relaxed night in with good company and good chat, to a Big Night Out filled with great memories and ending with watching a sunrise together.
