Hey! I'm Lucy and I come from Sheffield in the UK 🇬🇧
I've recently moved to Melbourne to start living the Aussie life 😄🦘

I've spent the majority of this year travelling around Asia (Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Borneo) where I worked in animal shelters, developed a passion for scuba diving and met some bloody fantastic people, including a few through couch surfing!

I'm a really easy going girl with plenty of funny stories from my travels. I'm very social and up for any new experiences thrown my way! I also love any outdoor activity so try to do these and get out into nature whenever I can 😄🌲🏞

My plan is to travel to Tasmania in early February and find a job in hospitality. It'd be great if someone could host me when I arrive, or just meet up so I can start to make some friends over there 😊

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After hearing people recommend the app so many times, I finally downloaded it to give a try! I've already met some great friends from here who have given me the local must-do's. It really does seem like the best way to get to know a new place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent one month living in the Amazon Rainforest! Waking up each morning to the sounds of birds, monkeys and whatever else was nearby was amazing. I did have a wasp lay eggs in my eye though...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will gladly cook, clean, dog-sit, baby-sit and make you smile in return for some basic accommodation and a new friend. I will also provide the beers 🍻
