Hello ! My name is Lucy, I'm both French and English. I love to learn new languages, visit freely and extemporaneously all countries. I like new encounters, new sights and new food. I cherish simplicity but I like to always be on the move !

PHILOSOPHY(IES)

If we didn't laugh about the absurd stuff, life wouldn't make any sense.

About trips, I won't be saying that meeting with unique people should be the whole purpose of travelling, because we all think in different ways, and some of us prefer terrific sights, authentic food and museum tours (I like those as well), but for me it is.

CURRENT SITUATION

I live in the south of France :) I'm passionate about writing so I study literature and I'm finishing a novel at the moment.

I share my time between my keyboard and anything that lies outside : strolls in the beautiful moutains and nature we have around here, bars that just reopened, meeting with friends in the park...

THINGS I LIKE

I like to talk about anything with anyone, in any language, I like to dance and bounce on all kinds of music, from hard rock to indie not forgetting rap, soul, world music and the sounds I make by taping two fingers against my knee.
I like to do random things, like hicking at night or swimming in the middle of the ocean.
And, of course, I love writing.

All sorts of music, more specifically rock, reggae soul, trance and electronic music or more probably a combination of all four.
Most of Carlos Ruiz Zafón novels, fantasy stories, italian literature in general, Haruki Murakami's novels, Gabriel Garcia Marquez's "réalisme magique", philosophical essays.
I usually like series rather than films, but I enjoy some old movies because the soundtracks are awesome !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Let me tell you about that time... oh wait. Covid happened.
Seriously all of my travels made me so happy and many of them were adventures like that time when I had no idea I was gonna land in Poland and it was all snowy and great. Or that other time when we were supposed to set camp for the night but it was raining and we ended up in the middle of nowhere, in a barn with baby cats and a late birthday party.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know little stuff about lots of things, and I web all that informations in my mind, ready for it to be passed on and shared.
I like to teach new things (I used to do guided tours:) ) and to complete my knowledge with other people's experiments.

I love to learn. Especially languages and philosophical stuff :)

I can share talks, writing skills and tips about what to see when travelling in Aix en Provence or on the côte d'azur in France :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Friendly conversations :) I like telling stories and making them up. I used to teach english and I can learn you some french. And I'm always happy to help with housekeeping, cooking and gardening.
