I’m an happy US-expat who has been living in the Ruhr Area of Germany for 7 years now. I have a degree in German Studies and am currently in year 3 of 4 at the Folkwang University of the Arts studying Physical Theatre. I also freelance as a performer, singer, dancer and teacher.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My travels and the friends I have from all over the world have enriched my life so much that I cannot imagine where and who I would be with them. I want to continue going places and meeting people to keep learning and experiencing life from all different perspectives. I also want give back / pay it forward by being a generous host!

Interests

I am a passionate swing dancer and theatre maker + goer. I love all forms of dance and performing arts. I am interested in art, culture and language. I also love animals and grew up with lots of them. I love trying new things and adventures. I like being active and outdoors, but can equally relish a lazy morning with a delicious big breakfast and good company.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve performed on the same stage as Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald once did. I’ll never forget seeing their names listed in the hallway backstage. #heroes

Learn: French, Italian, Spanish, other languages, all types of dance and movement techniques, all about other cultures, your style of cooking, programming, graphic design... really quite curious about a whole lot of things!
