About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel. Explore the world and see how other people live.
ABOUT ME
To move, to breathe, to fly, to float,
To gain all while you give,
To roam the roads of lands remote,
To travel is to live.
- Hans Christian Andersen, The Fairy Tale of My Life: An Autobiography
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
People make life beautiful. For that simple reason, I am on couch surfing to make connections with interesting and inspiring people from around the world.
Interests
Nature is important to who I am. I find solace in mountains. I enjoy hiking and snowboarding, swimming in the sea and any outdoor activities.
I like to lounge in cafes and sip black coffee, whilst reading a book or watching the world go by.
I like to spend time in saunas and onsens/spas/baths (I am proud to have endured a 120°C Austrian sauna Aufguss). I also enjoy playing the guitar and video games.
I am a vegetarian and nourish my soul with good food, most of the time!
Music, Movies, and Books
Books: The Count of Monte Cristo, 1984, Frankenstein, Gone with the Wind
Films: Shaw Shank Redemption, Princess Mononoke
Music: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Angus & Julia Stone, classical melodies
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking through snow to Maria Waldrast, a mountain monastery in the Austrian Alps.
Teach, Learn, Share
Share travel stories and experiences. Enjoy each others' company and conversations. I like to have philosophical discussions, to ponder life and question the nature of reality.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I could tell you how Aussies live over a nice home cooked meal. Let's play cards/board games, relax and laugh or practice speaking different languages. And of course, explore together.
