I have been living in Malawi for a couple of years now but I have recently started a new job so have relocated to a town in the Southern Region called Balaka.
Its a pretty random place but I am loving it so far and really enjoying exploring and getting to know the local area.

As I said - I think Balaka is great but definitely not a tourist destination in itself (although we do have an incredible Italian restaurant and a great bar)! Buttttt I have lots of experience and stories to tell from Malawi and my house is only 25 minutes away from Liwonde where there is an amazing national park.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people, new experiences, that sort of thing! Love the concept of it.
I have been wanting to host for years but not been in a position to due to being in other peoples houses etc - so very excited to be able to start accepting visitors now!
