About Me

I am originally a Melbourne girl who has lived in Paris for a year. I am lucky enough to have a UK passport that allowed me to work over there and travel so easily (which could all change very soon!). I met so many amazing people who I still keep in contact with years later. I felt so privileged to have met positive people as it really made my trip all the more exciting and enjoyable. Last year I moved to Sydney and haven't looked back since.
Currently, I am just about to finish my degree in education, which is super exciting. However, I do very much have a life outside of uni. When I'm not studying I do really enjoy fitness related activities - my housemate and I just did the Sydney Half Marathon earlier in the year. Ironically, another hobby of mine is going out - dancing, listening to good music and having a few drinks.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have only recently heard about couch surfing and will be travelling to the US soon and would love to give it a go. I love meeting new people and discovering new places.

Music, Movies, and Books

I feel like my favourite music is forever changing but at the moment I love Client Liaison. I'm also reading a great book at the moment called Eat, Pray, Love. In fact this book has inspired my next year of travel....
Eat - North America
Pray/ learn- France
Love - UK

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to Paris when I was 18, not knowing anyone and having a very basic level of French at the time. It was a challenging experience as I was working 60 hour weeks and didn't have a lot of free time. Eventually, I quit my job and decided to find other work that allowed me to travel. I became a nanny for the most incredible family who I still keep in contact with.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook, more so eating the final product. I am a big fan of sweet things - anything with chocolate or ice-cream is my jam! Also always up for a board/ card game.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am super enthusiastic about life and just really enjoying meeting new people. I’m a positive person who loves to get outside and explore, usually without a map (that does sometimes end in me becoming super lost)!
