Overview
About Me
I'm a student in Edinburgh, Scotland. Edinburgh is a beautiful city all year round, but it really comes to life in August with the Fringe Festival.
I am currently studying Russian and English Literature. I move to St. Petersburg, Russia in September 2015, so I may potentially be able to accept guests there...
I'm cheerful, enthusiastic and have a lot of energy! I would love to explore and meet people who love their city and want to share it with others. I'm helpful, relaxed, open-minded and conscientious. I like reading, writing, cooking (I'm vegan, love animals), clubbing, shopping and exploring...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I haven't used couch surfing before but last summer I was lucky enough to stay with a family in Romania for a few weeks. I loved the experience and they were so generous, I'd love to do the same for someone/experience that again.
I would love to meet new people and I'd be happy to show people around Edinburgh - I might even have space on my couch for you to stay!
In June 2015, my flatmate (Alice) and I have decided to travel from Istanbul through to Budapest, with a good few stops along the way! We would love the chance to meet local people and see the best secret spots that we might not stumble upon ourselves. Someone who might know vegan-friendly spots would be great!
We're considering the following stops (but we're open to suggestions):
Istanbul, Sofia, Belgrade, Sarajevo, Mostar, Dubrovnik, Zagreb, Plitvice Lakes, Ljubljana, Budapest
If you think you can help us at all, please get in touch :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I won a hitchhiking race with my teammate from Edinburgh to Paris in 2013!
Alice and I also took part in a hitchhiking race from Edinburgh to Prague in February 2015 and made it there in under 50 hours. We met the most generous, amazing people along the way.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn the basics of your language!
I also want to explore the vegan food options around the world.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach: English, basic Russian, vegan cooking, Scottish ceilidh dancing, willing to take care of pets...
