Overview
About Me
I'm 36 yrs old, but I still feel I'm hiding a 16 yr old inside me. I am super passionate about everything so be ready for my roller-coaster.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm her to meet people from different cultures, travel and host travellers!
Interests
I love piercings, tattoos and anything out of the ordinary.
As a Goth, I'm a night person, I enjoy long walks at cemeteries and I have a profound love for everything old (from Victorian clothes to Georgian sewing machines or antique gramophones).
I love science, history and politics and i'm a human rights advocate. I love animals more than anything, so if you have a pet, I must warn you that it'll be love at first sight as I never met an animal I didn't love :)
I have a very low tolerance in alcohol and as much as I love wine, I usually can't handle more than 2 small glasses and choose not to drink often. I love entertaining others and very often cook huge feasts for friends and family. I'm very fond of Asian cuisine and spices occupy most of the space in my cupboards.
My dream holidays would be in Tibet but they haven't happened yet.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm into rock and metal music with a high appreciation on ethnic/traditional tunes of the world. I wouldn't listen to what the radio plays but I'd probably dance with this year's hot tracks in a night club after wine has taken over my system :)
I like independent cinema more than Hollywood. I despise super-hero movies and can't stand cliche chick-flicks or movies where 3D is more important than acting.
Foreign films usually catch my eye more (Iranian, Korean, Japanese, German, Italian, Spanish) although there are a few exceptions of American productions that I love eg Apocalypto, A beautiful mind.
My top movies of all time would have to be: (in no particular order)
1. La vita e bella (Life is beautiful)
2. Labyrinto del fauno (Pan's Labyrinth)
3. Amadeus
4. Les Trois Mosquetaires (The 3 Musketeers -1940s)
5. Die Ehe der Maria Braun (The marriage of Maria Braun)
6. Interview with a vampire
7. Spring, summer, autumn, winter...and spring
8. Il postino (the postman)
9. Dracula (Coppola's)
10. The house of the spirits
11. Cinema Paradiso
12. Schindler's list
With literature, I'm all about the big classics:
Dostoevsky, Dickens, Hugo, Marquez, Cela, Umberto Eco, Tolstoy, Bronte sisters.
