This will end up as an essay if I try to fit everything in, but I love to try new things and as a result have so many activities I love to do, there is just never enough time! I was born and raised in Sydney, however my Dad and his family are English so am currently looking at moving over there for work (plus it is so much closer to explore the rest of Europe... and the food!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am trying out couch surfing for the first time for a chance to meet more local people and hopefully see more of what real life is like in Iceland! I also lived in Sweden for 6 months, and the opportunity I had there to befriend locals made my experience so much more amazing than I could have imagined.

Interests

I am hugely interested in design, art and photography, particularly with relation to nature and biology. I am a furniture and interior designer back home and can't help but collect beautifully made handicrafts and design from my travels (making for a very full bag). I love to try new cuisines and new sports and adventures whenever I can! I have also danced since before I can remember which has given me very varied music tastes... my dance moves when I am out are still surprisingly tacky, I guess ballet doesn't help with that.

Music, Movies, and Books

My book interests are a little alll over the place, love a good mix of fiction (harry potter is forever a fav) and often science based or political non fiction. Pretty much goes the same for film, but set design and cinematography play a big role for me here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently hiked one of a twin set of volcanos in Guatemala and camped overnight. From our campsite we could see and hear the eruptions going all day and night from the opposite active volcano!
