Laid back and always up for a beer and late night philosophising. Just finished a Master's in environmental issues in Scotland, and I'm now touring North America, after being in South America for a year, as a freelance environmental journalist :)

PHILOSOPHY

Be kind to animals and plants - even the humans!

INTERESTS

My main interest is people and their stories.

I'll pet anything that moves, scales or fur.

I write a lot about the environment and like learning about local ecosystems and oddities when travelling.

I'm also fascinated by politics, religion, power structures and socioeconomics.

I like learning about local tales, myths, jokes and nuances in language.

I'm fascinated by languages and am really happy when I get told a new word, even if I forget it the next day. I'm also more than happy to share bizarre facts on English and confusing London pronunciations. I've also been known to swap books with couch surfing hosts, cook and share travel recommendations and also professional connections.
