Sobre mí

Hi! I recently graduated from university where I studied criminology and behavioral economics. I'm currently working full-time in Philadelphia but I'm saving up and planning to do an extended backpacking trip at some point in the next few years. For now I'm enjoying exploring the city, meeting new people, and making small trips whenever I can.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people from different backgrounds and would love the opportunity to meet more people without having to travel. I'd also love to try couchsurfing as a traveller in the future!

Intereses

I love going to concerts, playing any and all intramural sports, and walking aimlessly around different neighborhoods in Philly. I've also recently gotten interested in cooking, and while I am certainly not an expert, I love trying out new recipes and think that cooking meals together is a great way to share an experience.

Música, películas y libros

I often will repost or "like" music that I'm into on my soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/14bbit , but I also love a lot of non-electronic music as well; some of my all-time favorites would include CCR, The Decemberists, and the Tallest Man on Earth. I also have to admit that I listened to Nicki Minaj's The Pinkprint album non-stop for an entire week after it came out :)

Books that I've read recently that stood out to me:

-A Visit from the Goon Squad by Jennifer Egan

-On Beauty by Zaidi Smith

-The Bone Clocks by David Mitchell

-The Story of Stuff by Annie Leonard

And I'm always looking for books/music/movie recommendations, so feel free to send any my way!

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can talk your ear off about criminal justice policy in the US if that's something that interests you at all...

I've also been living in Philly for 5 years at this point, so although I'm no expert I would love to show you my favorite spots in addition to all of the main tourist attractions Philly has to offer
