About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live as fully as possible, see as much as possible, meet as many interesting people as possible, laugh as much as is physically possible without cramping up.

ABOUT ME

I'm an Irish woman, I'm twenty-seven, I'm a writer. I have a passion for all things interesting and thought-provoking, be it people, places, books, films, foods, experiences - you name it! I have a great desire to live this life I've been given to the fullest (while still managing to relax, and go with the flow, of course). I can be a bit of a cynic, but not disgustingly so. I'm a pretty positive person, over all. My favourite thing to do is learn.

PHILOSOPHY

You'll die in a while, so make the most of this little tiny bit of being alive that you've been given before it happens. I try to be good to people, and hope for the same.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in Oslo and Paris, and had a fantastic time in both. Now for the rest of the world.

Interests

Literature, film, nature, art, food, music, people, good days, great nights. The good life. I'm a less creepy-seeming, modern-day female Bacchus, essentially.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm just going to say 'yes' to all three. Would be insanity-inducing to try to summarise an interest in music, movies and books. They're 'very good'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was born, although only once. That was pretty amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can talk aimlessly and endlessly in a meandering fashion about writing, literature, films, music, modern living, travel, food, and other, similar philosophically-themed bullshit. I relish it, even (I am Irish, after all. I can spin a fair auld yarn!). I also have a slight tendency to break into song, but I'll try to reel it in (unless otherwise requested).

What I Can Share with Hosts

My presence? Good cooking, if so desired. Good conversation (in my humble opinion). General cleanliness, and a willingness to learn about their culture, area, lives, or anything else they may be willing to offer my hungry brain. If not, that's cool too, I'm a fairly independent person, and can happily be left to my own devices.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Montenegro, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
