About Me
*I've recently moved again and now live in Townsville and will update my profile properly soon! In the meantime, you're welcome to send me a message with any questions etc*
I'm 25, and have recently moved to Tennant Creek in the NT. I manage a community services program which keeps me very busy. I'm originally from Adelaide, where my family and by beautiful dogs live, who I miss a lot (the dogs, not the family lol). I'm not really a city person, and have moved around the country a lot the last few years.
I love meeting new people; sharing a meal and experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've traveled Europe alone and the best memories were made when hanging out with local people and seeing their home town from a local perspective. I also know how great it was to have access to a proper kitchen, laundry, etc whilst away.
I signed up with Couchsurfing when I was living in Kununurra, Western Australia. There were several groups of travelers I met, and invited them back to my house to stay, so I guess I was a Couchsurfing host without actually realising it!

Music, Movies, and Books
I have very diverse taste in movies, books and music!
Movies: Marvel, Sci-Fi/Dystopian, Harry Potter,
Books: I can't walk past a book shop sale without a buying an armful of books! I have a collection of hundreds of different books scattered between several houses (I move around a lot!). They are mostly in storage at my parents' house, but I really don't remember what's in those boxes!
Music: Eminem, Ed Sheeran, Pink, Missy Higgins, Justin Bieber, musical theatre, country, rap.... whatever!
Teach, Learn, Share
In my experience, most travelers though my town are very interested to learn about Australian Aboriginal people and their culture. I am happy to share with you what I know about this and anything else :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I only have a small unit (one bedroom) but what's mine is yours, or so the saying goes. The couches, the kitchen, bathroom and washing machine! I also have a BBQ and a small outdoor area. I sometimes will have access to another unit for your to stay in (bedroom, kitchen, lounge room and bathroom), if it's available, but not always. If not, I only have one couch for one person, so if you travelling in a pair or group, it's better if you have a swag or mattress,
