About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To seek out adventure in every crack and crevice of the world, passionately and freely creating new experiences and bringing love and light wherever I go.

ABOUT ME

Describing myself to a stranger is proving to be a difficult task. I like to think of myself as a free spirit, a wanderer, a farmer, a yogi, an artist, a musician, a writer, a daughter, a sister and a friend.
I love doing yoga, gardening, pretty much any form of art, going to the beach, adventuring around the world and chilling with good people. Family has always been important to me, I'm super close with my mom and three brothers that still live in Phoenix and have been best friends and traveling buddies with my other brother, Christian. All in all I am a pretty positive and spontaneous person. I'm a firm believer in going where ever life takes you and I try hard to let go of the illusion of control that is so tempting to grip on to. I like to think that anything is possible with enough hard work and determination and feel very intensely that it is important to live your passions and follow your dreams.

I have been backpacking Maui for the past year and work traded via the WWOOF program the six months before that. Currently I'm traveling up the west coast starting with Berkeley toward the San Juan islands. I am very excited that life is taking me in this direction and cannot wait to discover more about the world around me, the people that inhabit it, and the inner workings of myself.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is ever evolving with me through the crazy twists and turns of life. Still, there is a central core of beliefs and a foundation for my constantly changing world view and it is roughly this: You only have one life to live and, as cliche as that sounds, it's something to take into account. Don't waste a moment being somewhere you don't want to be or working at a job you don't enjoy. Follow your passions and your dreams because they will lead you down the road that will end in happiness and contentedness in where you are and what you are doing with your life. Also love can change any situation.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I love to read all kinds of books, from Henry Miller's rabid rantings about life and society to Ray Bradbury's Martian Chronicles, where a world of fantasy is mingled with the world we are already aware of. I can also dig the occasionally romance novel by Sarah Dessen or the random book that I discovered when I found it on the side of the road missing it's cover.

Music: Love, love, love music! I like the vast majority of music from something classic like Queen to the crazy and eccentric Regina Spektor (

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life is kind of a menagerie of different crazy and amazing experiences for me. I enjoyed traveling through Europe when I was younger and experiencing different cultures, that in itself is an amazing experience. Still I would have to say the year I've spent in Maui being a crazy hippy, farmer vagabond and eagerly embarking on every new experience and opportunity takes the cake.
