Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been a couch surfing member for a # of years, and participated in the community as a surfer, but haven't been in living situations that allowed me to host. That said, now whenever I am home, you are welcome.

I was initially drawn to the CS community for 2 reasons: 1) the prospect of being surrounded by open-minded, compassionate people while discovering new places and 2) a cheap way to travel.

A component of the experience that I never considered until recently was my role as an ambassador to the local community. Let me show you around town!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a summer working outside Glacier NP. I'd never been immersed in a community where the culture centers around the mountains and exploring them.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook Filipino dishes (adobo, pancit, lumpia), among many other things :) I just picked up the ukulele, want to jam?
