I love travelling and meeting new people!If money wasn't an issue I would travel foreverI enjoy sharing a beer/meal with new friends while swapping travel tales. I believe travel is good for the soul and broadens one's outlook on life. My most recent trip was 2 weeks in New Zealand re visiting places I went to as a kid and also seeing some new places.
Prior to that I did 4 weeks in Europe(Lisbon + Amsterdam)/Uk(London + Bristol)/Israel in 2018/19.
Prior to that a 10 week Europe trip in 2016 -my 2nd time in Europe and my first trip back to the UK since living there (2004-2007)
I actually got to couch surf for the first time on that trip

Im a pretty social person, but also enjoy quiet time so I'm a clean, tidy and respectful person to have in your home. I enjoy going to festivals, doofs, raves and costume parties.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people from all walks of life. I know how lonely travel can be at times and I love to be able to offer travellers a place to stay/chill out(when I'm not travelling myself ️)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Packed up and moved over 4300km to the other side of Australia️

Stayed with a host family while studying Spanish in Oaxaca Mexico in 2004 aged 22.Loved it, arrived with very little Spanish left semi fluent and it was then that I caught the travel bug. ️️I went on to live in the UK for three years so it turned into one big 4 year holiday ️Back living in Brisbane now.

Prior the trips mentioned above I also did some solo back packing in SE Asia. This included a 6 week solo trip around Cambodia and Laos in 2013. I also really loved seeing a lot more of Spain on my 2016 trip -esp the south. Spent a month in a cool flat in Granada meeting people from all over the world on that trip.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm clean, tidy and respectful and enjoy swapping a travel tale or two over a glass of wine/sangria or a beer or two or three. That being said I'm also independent and happy to also do my own thing- I will respect people's quiet time and understand that if it's mid-week people often work. I'll help out with cooking and cleaning too
