About Me

Currently in the shoulder season of wildfire fighting in BC, Canada. Taking a winter to chill and get into some hobbies I've neglected over the past few years while in school taking many science courses!
Love running, cycling, laughing/making other people laugh, music, hiking, making art, reading, adventuring, being outside, and meeting/learning from new friends (to name a few).
I hope to host couchsurfers someday soon, learn from those I meet, and maybe teach someone somethin too!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on my first European adventure and would love to not just stay in hostels (which are also a great time) as it’s nice to get local perspective/tales/history on places! Seems like an interesting way to travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

I’ve been mostly into non fiction lately, science, memoirs, humanities, and also love poetry. I have yet to delve into the world of fantasy/science fiction etc, so any suggestions are much appreciated, and my book collection is waiting to be lent out as well!

My interest in music is all over the place, and changes a lot depending on my mood, the one constant is that my love for it is undying. Recently I picked up my guitar again so I’ve been inspired by folk/blues/rock old and new.
Electronic of all kinds is a staple, it’s so varied and interesting and inspires all kinds of emotions! Very much into any bass heavy type stuff, downtempo, funky, and weird.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycling the west coast, Vancouver to San Francisco. An incredible experience, beautiful scenery, a great travel bud and met so many great people along the way.
Or working as a treeplanter for many seasons, my favourite job.

Teach, Learn, Share

Trees are one of the most wonderful things in the world, and have been a big part of my work, would love to nerd out about trees and plants.
Art making and being creative is something everyone can and ought to spend some time doing, I love making art with people and exchanging ideas and techniques. Mostly into painting and drawing but always love expanding my practice.
Practicer of yoga/meditation and trying to be more consistent, I like sharing that with people, for those who are into either of those things or want to try it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking for people, and cleaning so if anything I could offer those things! Also love to make people laugh. If you're interested in yoga I am a teacher too, so would be happy to do a session. Or weird stories about working in the Canadian wilderness.
