About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To spend my summer wisely
ABOUT ME
I grew up in Newcastle (England) and believe it may possibly be the best city in the world (looking forward to putting that theory to the test in some far flung places). Had to move away to study physics and ended up in the lovely Birmingham, where I have been living for nine years. I studied and then worked - now I'm studying again, towards a PhD in photovoltaics (solar cells).
I like to cycle or walk places, often the pub. I really love going out and dancing for a very long time to music - doesn't happen as much as it used to though! There is a lot happening in Birmingham - its a fun place to be with interesting gigs, exhibitions on the door step.
Always looking for people I can have a bloody good time with.
PHILOSOPHY
Most people in the world are really mint.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've spread the CS word to other people. I have hosted here in Birmingham and also acted as a tour guide when my couch is not available. When I lived in New York we did a lot a lot of hosting.
A few summers ago I spent a week in Paris with my sister couchsurfing. I also worked in Spain and used CS to make friends there :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I spent a great week in Paris with my sister - made so much better through couch surfing. Saw Parc de villette, possibly the best park in the world.
