About Me

ABOUT ME

I like to travel and eat. I am cur renting studying medicine at the University of Sydney. I am originally from Canada; I grew up in Edmonton and studied at the University of Toronto. I enjoy participating in and observing different cultures and learning about the world. I'm open minded and love to experience new things.

PHILOSOPHY

To be happy and have fun in life. Life is short so I want to experience all that I can while I still have time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although I am new to couch surfing, I think it's a great idea!! It's exciting to meet new friends while travelling and not just travel for the scenery or tourist sites. I have been to a couple of couch surfing events and met some very nice people through couch surfing. Unfortunately, I cannot share my home as a host as I live in a dorm.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Gothenburg, Sweden! It was great. My host was very fun and she brought me and my friend around the city. We got to go to a street fest and pride parade. I also stayed with a very nice host in Montreal. He showed us around the city and we had great conversations. I hope future couch surfing experiences will be just as awesome. I also met a flight attendant from Germany when he was stopping over in Toronto. He didn't stay over but we had dinner together and I made a new friend. I was also a host for a Chinese girl travelling around Canada. I had fun hosting her and she even brought us a gift.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Hualian in Taiwan, I went to Tarako and swam in the stream there! The view was amazing and climbing the rocks there was so much fun. There were areas there that was like a small pool from a movie or some thing. That place was absolutely breathtaking!!
