Hi there! My name is Lucy and I am 26 and completing my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am currently a trainee and I intern part-time while in school full-time, and I work part-time as a personal assistant and babysitter. I was born and raised in New York, moved to New Mexico in my teenage years, and attended UC Santa Cruz with a Bachelor's in Intensive Psychology. I now live in San Diego to receive my Master's. I'm currently in a long-distance relationship with my boyfriend of over 4+ years. I enjoy reading, hiking, cooking, fashion, and anything Pinterest related. I am always looking for new adventures and love meeting new people. I've always traveled within the states, whether by myself, with family, or with friends. It's only recently, as of March 2016 that I've learned the importance of traveling internationally, especially at a young age. I have been to Thailand twice, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, and Vietnam. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couchsurfing because I want a new experience while traveling. I have stayed in hotels, hostels, Airbnb, and in friend's homes, but I want a new experience that is different than the rest. I would also love locals' tips on where to go such a hole-in-the-wall finds. I also enjoy the peace and quiet that comes with couchsurfing in comparison to sharing a hostel dorm with 12 people.
