About Me
*I'm currently travelling around Crete, Greece. Will be back to Barcelona by middle September 2023*
I grew up in Salvador Bahia and my dream was to become a professional surfer. However, when I was 17 I decided to do my studies in Buenos Aires. After 4 months, I returned to Brazil and my mother was living in São Paulo, so I returned to the concrete jungle. I convinced her that I wanted to become a flight attendant and for that I needed to improve my English. When I turned 20, I then moved to London with enough money for just a month. I got a job at my local neighbourhood cinema and sold popcorn for two years. It was there where I recognised my interest in cinema. Back in the day the movie "Vicky, Cristina, Barcelona" was on and I fell in love with that city. I then moved to Barcelona and enrolled myself in a film school! Today, 11 years after my graduation, that's what I do for living. I'm very passionate about travelling, doing cultural immersion, meeting new people, exploring nature, discovering new literature, local music, different ideologies and life philosophies. When I travel I feel connected to the present moment and that's where I most like to be : )

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To have a truly local experience when I'm a surfer or offer it when I'm a host! I'm a member since 2015, but I never really used CS. I opened it for guests in 2020 to try getting into the CS world, but the pandemic came and we all know what we've been through during that time. But now, in 2023, I'm very hopeful that I'll have my first CS experiences!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A week hitch-hiking trip I did with my best friend. No concrete plans, but a map in the hand. We went from Barcelona until almost Saint-Tropez. Together we spent €90 during the whole trip.
