We are a family of 4 living in the suburb of NY, 50 minutes away from Grand Central on the Metro North train (plus a 20 minutes walk, or about 1.5miles from the station to my house). My husband and I are on our 30s and my children are around 1 and 3 years old. It seems like an eternity since I have lived and couch surfed in Europe, but now I am more than willing to pay it back. We don't have a guest room, but we have a comfortable couch for 1 or 2. We can't have loud guest because of the children, but will warmly accommodate couch surfers looking for a place to overnight a few days

Interessen

My life revolves around my kids these days. But I Also love yoga and meditation, a good talk, science fiction, farmers markets and the local food movement (what I work for right now!), permaculture (trying to make my backyard feeling less "greenwichy", meaning, getting rid of the lawn and putting some life into it) and slowly trying to feel less lonely in the suburbs, building a community with my neighbors
