ABOUT ME
Hey, nice to meet you! I'm Ludmila, a 28 years old journalist from Brazil. Life has led through unexpected paths and currently I'm living in Italy as an au pair.
I'm in love with this country! Italy is fascinating in so many levels I can't even begin to describe it. Currently my mission is explore every corner of this amazing land, get to know its people and maybe share a bit of my culture and language.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here mostly to get to know people and learn as much as I can from them. Living in another country is an incredible experience, but getting to know it beyond the touristic point of view is my main goal. I want to discuss about books and politics, travels and music, anything that comes to mind.
Interests
Music, books, trips, places, different people... Or everything that is different of what I know and of what I live. My biggest interest is to learn. Always.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can't choose just one favorite too. So here is a 'short' list.
Books: The Book Thief, Wuthering Heights, Sophie's World, Harry Potter saga, Watermellon, Le petit prince. I love many Brazilian books too.
Movies: Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain (definitely my favorite), Romeo + Juliet, The Lake House, Little miss sunshine, Almodóvar's movies, Stigmata, Disney's movies (I'm still a kid!), The name of the rose, Before sunrise, Edward Scissorhands, and all the movies that Johnny Deep have been to.
Music: I can say that I love The Beatles (really really love them), classic rock, 50's-60's-70's-80's, disco music, britpop, folk music, blues, classical and MPB (popular Brazilian music - yeah, it includes samba).
Well... I really love music, doesn't matter where it come from.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Getting lost in Rome. Eating a giant pizza alone in Milan. Losing my backpack in São Paulo (=( it was sad actually). Travelling to Italy and Germany with my choir (and in Brazil: Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul, Pernambuco).
What I Can Share with Hosts
If possible, I'd like to cook for you something from my homeland. Our options are a bit limited, but we can figure it out ;)
