Hi I'm Ludovic, I'm 23, I was born in Belgium but grew up in Brazil. I love to travel and meet new places and people, currently backpacking southern and east Africa for 5 months. I study mechanical engineering in Rio and recently finished a 2 year exchange in France. I'm just starting with couchsurfing and looking forward to meet people on the way!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Travelling on a budget, so couchsurfing is definitely an inexpensive option. And I also think it's a great way to meet locals and learn more about the local culture compared to hostels where there are mostly tourists.

Interessen

I do a lot of sports, especially volleyball (and beach volley s2), football and surf. I play the guitar and currently learning how to play the cavaquinho (Brazilian instrument similar to the ukulele, I'm travelling with it). I also enjoy a lot going out with friends, have a beer and listen to good music. While travelling I also enjoy reading. In a more professional point of view my dream is to work with renewable energy projects, maybe wind power projects in Brazil.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I listen to pretty much every kind of music, I like to discover local music as well. I have been reading books on energy topics and entrepreneurship. Sapiens is also on my reading list.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

My best travel experience so far was travelling 2 weeks on foot in Zimbabwe, from Harare to Makuti, with a French family I met on the road.
