Hi! I'm Ludo, from Belgium. I've been living in Kuala Lumpur for 7 years. I love sports: cycling, running, swimming, climbing, boxing... I love meeting new people and sharing experiences. I enjoy having fun as well as deep conversations. Couchsurfing has been a great discovery and I really adhered to its initial philosophy of providing accommodation to strangers in exchange of their time.

We travelled a lot when I was young with my family. Then I started travelling on my own. I joined a few humanitarian projects: in India, one month; in Spain, one month; in Belgium where I taught French to Afghan immigrants for 6 months. In Portugal, I did an EVS project with disabled people. I spent 4 months in Nepal, 1 month in Myanmar and 1 month in Vietnam teaching English in local schools.

Each project and travelling experience made me realize how small and yet amazing my own life was. Seeing other people living their life differently made me understand that I had to cherish mine and enjoy the people around me. I became less critical of others and more aware of my personal needs.

Now, I've decided to travel a bit less and work a bit more. Hence I founded INKAA with my friend in Malaysia. It is a social enterprise, we collaborate with local artisans to create accessories and garments. Feel free to have a look at our website: www.inkaa.com.my
