Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For now I have been participating is CS as a Surfer. But I would love to host as soon as I get my own place a year from now. Nothing beats traveling the world, with out leaving your own living room. (Except actually traveling the world ;)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So I've had less then a hand full of couch surfing experiences, but they have all be grand. My friends and I went on a road trip, and some places even fed us dinner, and followed suit with some great company and good conversation. One of my favorite CS experiences was In Buena Vista, Colorado. Our host took us white water rafting and then we prepared dinner for him and his friends. He let us cook in his kitchen and supplied many missing ingredients to our dinner. For dessert, we star gazed on his front porch... I couln't have asked for a better day in Colorado.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent the entire summer of 2012 traveling across Europe! I went to London, Milan, Labro, and Sicily to name a few.
Then my Cuban American cousin will joined me later on in my travels and we went to Naples, Capri, Switzerland, France, Greece, and Spain.
One of the happiest moments I had recently was when we went to pick cherries in the country side of Rome.
I was surrounded by lush green hills and mountains, and a community of very kind people.
Emma, the house chef suggested that we should go pick cherries at a nearby tree. We walked down the road and up to one of the only cherry trees in the area. I climbed to the top of that slender cherry tree on what was the middle of a very hot summer day. I reached the very top branches where the fruit got the most sun. I didn't stop picking cherries until my bowl was full to the brim. I took one of the dime sized cherries and brought it to my lips. The moment I pressed down on it with my teeth, the bordeaux colored juices attacked my taste buds with the sweetest most flavorful cherry I had ever tasted. My mind screeched to a stop and realized,
"Oh shit, I'm in Italy, at the top of a tree, picking cherries!"
It brought the biggest smile to my face.
And Right when I thought it couldn't get any better, a breeze kicked through the valley and kissed the sweat on my face and body. In that exact moment, there was no place I would have rather been, than at the top of that strong but skinny cherry tree.
And... A cross country road trip with my 3 best friends :
