I'm an open-minded and joyful person, who enjoys meeting new people. I'm always good for a laugh and enjoy hanging out with my friends. After finishing my first year working as a doctor I am now taking a sabbatical to travel through central America and Colombia :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I did couchsurfing with a friend in 2010 and once again in 2012 and it was really amazing. There are so many nice people to meet and i really enjoyed to get in touch with locals :) The first two times we only used my friend's account which is why I don't have much to show in this platform. But I hope, it's getting better during the next couple months.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Spain: quite spontaneous, but great!
Canada: Just amazing and super nice people in this country.
USA: short, but very nice!
Tanzania: at first I was a little surprised that I actually found quite a lot of people on Couchsurfing in Tanzania. It showed how popular it is. I was traveling alone for one month partly stayed in hostels and partly used Couchsurfing. It was really interesting to get in touch with the locals and I had a very good time.

Interests

I like board games, dancing, listening to podcasts, cooking and TV-Series. Also of course I enjoy hanging out with people, preferably in a park, on a balcony or on raves/clubs wherever :)
